A renowned public speaker, Sara Minkara shares her unique perspective and highly personal story through a remarkably warm presentation style. A graduate of Wellesley College and Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, Sara is the founder of a successful international nonprofit, Empowerment Through Integration (linked to ETI’s page) and the founder and CEO of Sara Minkara LLC. A proudly first-generation blind, Muslim, Arab-American woman raised in the greater Boston area, Sara addresses audiences around the world through public and private events for community and government agencies, academia, private enterprise, nonprofits and more. Comfortable, accessible, and captivating, Sara incorporates her own experiences as a touchstone to explore topics including self-empowerment, living authentically, and inclusive leadership. With a dynamic range of offerings, Sara provides expert panel facilitation, workshop programming, interactive lectures, keynote addresses and other engagement structures for large-scale and intimate gatherings.
Sara Minkara speaks to diverse audiences on a range of topics. She is featured on the U.S. State Department Speaker’s Circuit, and has spoken at the U.N. in New York and Vienna, the Boston Mayor’s Office, the Clinton Foundation, NOAA, Lazard, the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, the UAE Embassy, Harvard University, Babson College, AirBnb, and many more. Sara addresses authentic leadership, identity and intersectionality, representation, individual value and mutual respect, disability access and opportunity, gender and individual empowerment, among other topics. In coordination with planning staff, Sara customizes the form and content of every engagement to suit audience, cultural and event dynamics.
